  • Ostrichpillow Go Neck Pillow

Best Travel Pillows for Long Flights under $20

This first option is one we’ve purchased many times. It’s a classic, and under $20! The Wolf Essentials and Cozy Soft Microfiber Pillow is a stable in the airport. We love that it is cheap and compresses to a small space. The only drawback to this one, in our experience is it tends to get really warm quickly.

If you prefer something that is more malleable when you’re sleeping, check out this Microbead alternative – Brookstrone Microbead Travel Head and Neck Pillow.

Finally, if you’re very space conscious and want a pillow that will reduce down to the smallest area possible in your luggage, you’ll want an inflatable pillow option like Kendall Inflatable Neck Pillow.

Best Travel Pillows for Long Flights, mid-range

First in the above $20 price range, the Dot&Dot Twist Memory Foam Travel Pillow if fully moldable and twistable. Great for folks who want firm support.

Next, this Cabeau Evolution Pillow is my current travel gear obsession! It is a very supportive neck pillow, but with a special velcro strap that secure the pillow to your headrest. It holds your neck up easily and lets me sleep super soundly. Is it worth the price tag? In my opinion, absolutely yes. I sleep so well with this one.

Last, this BCOZZY Neck Pillow barely makes the under $50 cut, but is a great option for picky sleepers. It is completely flexible and adjusts to any plane or train seat. And amazing

Best Travel Pillows for Long Flights, over $50

Okay, now we’re entering creme de la creme travel pillows. If you have a difficult time sleeping on a plane, these price tags might be worth it. Let me tell you, once you’re on a plane and dying to fall asleep, you’ll be glad you splurged on a pillow that lets you unwind in comfort.

First, the viral trtl pillow. It has internal structure to help you hold your head up. This is great when you’re trying to sleep in a place that doesn’t have a high head rest … like a lounge or train station, where there isn’t a headrest to attach your travel pillow.

Next, the Huzi Infinity Pillow is the most versatile option open this whole list! You can wrap it around your neck, back, arms, etc. This is great for people who really like to sleep in the fetal position and folded over on their tray table.

However, it is pretty large, so probably not for the minimalist packer.

Lastly, the Ostrichpillow Go Neck Pillow is ergonomic and sleek. I won’t lie to you, my favorite thing about this pillow is very aesthetic design and breathable fabrics.

We hope this list has been helpful! Do you have any travel pillows we’ve forgotten? Let us know. Don’t forget to check out our Ultimate List of Long Haul Flight Essentials next.
