House
This Cape Cod vacation house rental has an IDEAL set up for a large family – a master suite upstairs, 3 bedrooms downstairs (2 queen rooms, and one room with 2 twin beds), and 3.5 bathrooms. You get the perfect Cape Cod aesthetic in every single room!
The large kitchen makes prepping family meals a breeze. It’s complete with 2 sub-zero fridges and 2 ovens, which allowed us to easily make adult and kid meals simultaneously. While prepping your meals, you’ll have beautiful views of Stage Harbor from the kitchen, dining room, and main living rooms.
Best of all, there are 3 living rooms in this huge house, so you’ll never feel like you’re on top of one another! Enough space for everyone.
Lastly, there is a beautiful upper deck with table/grill/sofa, a front porch, a back porch, a side porch with hanging sofa, and a small balcony off the master suite. So much outdoor space for reading and relaxing!
Property
One of the best things about this Chatham VRBO is the large property it sits on. A nice long driveway was a necessity for us, as the kids love to scooter up and down.
Amazing perk: There is a huge Osprey nest in the front yard!! The kids and adults had a blast watching the Ospreys swoop in and out, feed their chicks, and we even saw them return with fish! The house was outfitted with binoculars to let you really enjoy the Ospreys.
There were also so many rabbits and bunnies on the property. Every evening we would see 4 or more bunnies in the front lawn, and the kids went crazy for it.
Amenities
You’ll find all the amenities you would expect in a beach rental: beach chairs, coolers, towels, beach toys, and more. There are also bikes provided. The owners also provide kayaks you can take out if you sign an additional liability waiver.
Area
The location of this VRBO couldn’t be better. Only a 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive to downtown Chatham, and equally close to beautiful Stage Harbor and the stunning Monomoy Wildlife Refuge. We walked along the water every morning and biked to downtown regularly. A dream!
Owner Communication
The owners were courteous and prompt with their replies. They were very knowledgable about the area, and provided lots of recommendations. Excellent communication throughout!
