9 Best Colorado Craft Beer Breweries

August 7, 2025 · In: Blog, Colorado, USA

The Colorado Craft Beer scene is one of the best in the nation! If you’re a beer lover and planning a trip to Colorado, you’ll want to check these out! After living in Colorado for 4 years, I’ve compiled this collection of the 9 best Colorado craft beer spots for you!!

Colorado Craft Beer

If you’re looking for good beer, Colorado has your bases covered.

Check out this list of 9 Favorite Colorado Craft Breweries on the Front Range.

Denver

Colorado Craft Beer
Denver is home to fantastic microbreweries. Check out our suggestions below!

1. Cerebral Brewing – 1477 Monroe St, Denver, CO 8020

This brewery has 3 different locations in Congress Park, Aurora, and the West Highlands. We’ve only been to the original Congress Park location. We love these beers for their complexity and taste. Every sip leaves you with a refreshing feeling of satisfaction. Savor each moment. Their website even has a neat page to find out what’s on tap.

From their featured flights to lagers, hoppy IPA’s, sours, darks, and gluten free options, there’s a beverage choice for everyone. They also have 4 packs ready to go, so you can enjoy taking them back home with you. Food trucks are also available every day of the week at their Congress Park location.

Alternative locations include:

  • Aurora Arts – 9990 E Colfax Ave, Aurora, CO 80010
  • Highlands – 3257 Lowell Blvd, Denver, CO 80211

2. Ratio Beerworks – 2920 Larimer St, Denver, CO 80205

Ratio is an eclectic brewery found in the RINO (River north) neighborhood. We love their Repeater extra pale ale beer, as well as their Cityscapes Mexican-style lager. What was once more of an industrial neighborhood, Rino has transformed itself with plenty of hip vibes and many good restaurant options in the area.

Alternative location:

  • Overland: 2030 S. Cherokee St., Denver, CO 80223

3. Long Table – 2895 Fairfax Street, Denver, CO 80207

Long Table Brewhouse is located in the beautiful Park Hill neighborhood. This craft brewery is more intimate and great for a more mellow crowd.  It tends to be a more relaxed atmosphere, where one can enjoy good conversation. The brewery is surrounded by traditional bungalows in this adorable neighborhood. Come get cozy and enjoy a brew among family and friends. We took a liking to Helles Lager

4. Station 26 – 7045 E 38th Avenue, Denver, CO 80207

Station 26 is a unique brewery whose building once housed a fire station. Their tangerine cream beer is a delightful option on a hot and sunny day, or cool summer evening. They also have some delicious Mexican lagers, and their Juicy Banger IPA is a staple. Food trucks are available each day of the week.

The Mountains

Are the mountains calling your name?
You won’t want to miss these microbreweries!

5. New Terrain Brewing Co – 16401 Table Mountain Pkwy, Golden, CO 80403

Enjoy the simple pleasure of going for a leisurely hike and then indulge your senses and quench your thirst at New Terrain Brewing Co. Whether it’s Table Mountain or another nearby trail, one of our favorite activities was going for a hike followed by enjoying a beer. New Terrain has a massive facility where you can enjoy looking out, and taking in the scenery of nearby hills and mountainous terrain. Every beer on the menu is fantastic. When you mix physical activity of a hike with beer and sunshine, it’s a magical combination. It satisfies your soul. Just be sure to drink plenty of water as well!

6. Outer Range Brewing Company – 182 Lusher Ct, Frisco, CO 80443

View from Outer Range Brewing
Headed to the slopes at Keystone, Breckenridge, or Vail?
This is a microbrewery you must see!

In the mountains, there are many good options to choose from. However, when it comes to the highest quality beer, in our humbled opinion, Outer Range takes the cake! With every option being unique, we recommend getting a flight and trying as many as possible (within reason and responsibly, of course). Sure, you could have a good beer at the bar by the slopes, but this brewery is conveniently located right off interstate 70, and is well worth taking a ride. Take a look at those mountains!

The Road Less Traveled – Greeley & Fort Collins

7. Weldworks – 508 8th Ave, Greeley, CO 80631

While the brewery may be a little over an hour from downtown Denver, if you’re planning on checking out Fort Collins or heading north on interstate 25, the beer here is heavenly. Someone once said, “Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy.” While we can’t say this is true of any beer, the saying certainly applies to Weldwerks. If you’re a beer connoisseur, this is your place.

8. Odell Brewing Company – 800 E Lincoln Ave, Fort Collins, CO 80524

You’ll find this extremely popular local brewery in most grocery stores in Colorado. They have a lot of different options to choose from, but some of our favorites include the 90 Shilling (Amber Ale), Easy Street Wheat, and Sippin’ Pretty (Guava sour).

If you’re looking to stay more centrally located, Odell has also recently launched two Denver brewhouses including

  • Five Points Brewhouse – 2945 Larimer St, Denver, CO 80205
  • Sloan’s Lake Brewhouse – 1625 Perry St. Denver, CO 80204

9. Jessup Farm Barrel House – 1921 Jessup Drive, Fort Collins, CO 80525

Located on a rural farm with 13 acres of land, this brew house is chic and unique from the others listed. Whether you’re looking for a beer with lower ABV, or want to take a walk on the wild side with some of their older barrel aged brews (which we highly recommend – just don’t over indulge), this place is fantastic. Jessup Farm brings out original flavors that enriches the palate.
